At Dye Hard we thrive to see you thrive. Where we go hardcore & there's glitter on the floor. Fueled with a desire to create & a passion to grow, we've built a space that reflects that, literally! ;)
Founded by two besties, blonde specialist Andréa and master colourist Tanisha. We're a colour focused salon that aims to see you sparkle when you walk out of our door. Don't fret, precision cuts are also on our menu.

Tanisha
15 years seems to fly by when you love what you do. Completing my cosmetology program, Goldwell trained, I continued to grow in my career. Becoming a Goldwell master colourist at 23 was an exceptional accomplishment for me. I'm very proud of what I'm able to create with the unique tools the hair world has provided. Growing up in the lower mainland I was always looking for people that stood out. Wanting to create looks & vibes that had never been showcased here before. I feel like I've been able to do that now, for many & myself.
In my spare time, I'm going to shows, dabbling in some video games, socializing & exploring Vancouver. I could probably school you on some early 2000's emo, but I'm down to hear your band play too. Coming home after a long day, I've got Goobz (my cat) waiting for me. Along with some old salon pets that became my own. Herbert (little man) & Sherbert (big bertha) Sparkle, the notorious salon turtles.

With 10 years of experience behind the chair, I've built my career around helping clients feel confident, elevated, & truly seen. I trained at John Casablancas Institute, graduating with honors in both Hair & Esthetics. I've been dedicated to perfecting my craft ever since.
I specialize in blondes & lived-in brunettes. Looks that feel effortless, modern & tailored to each person who sits in my chair. Creating hair that grows out beautifully & complements your lifestyle is my absolute passion.
I grew up on the Sunshine Coast, where the natural beauty of the ocean, forests & small-town charm, shaped my creative eye. When I'm not at the salon, you can usually find me visiting family back home or cuddling my two cats, who totally run the house.
I can't wait to welcome you into my chair & bring your hair dreams to life.
